Poem
If Jesus Christ were walking among humans on earth today, he would believe that no suffering person would be thrown away. He would tell there is a lack of compassion, he would warn us about having a lack of constructive affirmative action. He would walk the hallowed halls of the United States Congress and petition the right to speak before the United Nations. About the lack of religious freedom and the rising of religious persecution. He would not remain silent and would even lay down his very life in 21st century contemporary society. The homeless and the asylum seekers would not be treated like human waste and garbage filling up our landfills and contamination of our land. He created the human race, and would shed bitter tears at its disgrace. He is the only way, the truth and the light to eternal life it is true. His followers have to forsake their former ways of life and follow him. He feed the multitudes, and preached the beatitudes. The meek and the pure in heart will inherit the earth the earth, not the greedy. He would walk into the mega churches and the home Bible schools. He probably would get thrown out of public schools and most universities. But not because he believed there is no such thing as throw away people. But because he did not approve of its polices and agendas. Some people are homeless out of freedom of choice, others by circumstances. People do not leave their homelands because they want to. It is because they have to. Like most people I recognize there is a problem. More affordable housing coupled with more affirmation action and rehabilitation. The City of Seattle ranks the fourth among the highest rents in the United States of America! Most people who work there cannot afford to live there. We should do what we can to help the helpless people along our southern boarder. ( There are human traffickers, drug and gun runners, and of course terrorists both foreign and domestic.) We should treat honest seekers with humanity and compassion. Jesus Christ realizes we are on his planet to make a difference, and to spread the good news of the gospel message. A young girl by the name of Tina was denied Medicaid because she worked in the last 12 months. Because she was denied health care, she died! Tina was not a throw away person, but she was treated like one! Love in Christ Jesus! Roxanne Lea Dubarry Roxy Lea 1954 Roxy 54/ October Country July 30, 2019
