There's a whirlwind inside 
Of my head
I'm like bread 
Without butter 
But instead, 
I am like no other
There's a monsoon inside
Of my wandering mindset
I'm like a young child 
That gets extremely upset
I'm far from mild…
I'm in the wild…
On my own
Not all alone

I don't really tell people 
How I feel or think that often...
But when I do, 
It releases intense tension 
From my unstoppable, ever-racing brain
My cranium is cracked open 
By your glowing, growing love again
I haven't a clue 
About half what you've been through, 
But you and I are still sane

I'm not in denial…
Under pressure for a while… 
Hopelessness has taken its toll
Your love is what I need as a whole
You're the one and only that made me feel horribly awesome once more
I'm sorry, but I must leave behind what we once had to reach that open door…

The open door to something a lot more than what life can offer
I am beyond flesh and bone and I will prove wrong the scoffer
Poetry has made me feel at home with myself and I keep on moving on
Writing my feelings down have made me who I am today from dusk to dawn

Please heal me, for I am brought low
From the scars of the grief-stricken past 
Ease the melodic, lonesome sorrow 
Of yesterday's tomorrow and make it last

Had some traumatic stuff happen to me and I can't get over some
I did a bad, bad thing and I feel remorse as ripe as the finest plum

I'm so focussed on the wrongs I've done in life
That I have almost forgotten what I've done right
I conceal these tears that I shed inside, 
But I'm alive and will survive the future strife
With the remaining strength I got with pride…
Not to mention my unfathomable might 
Also, my passionate potential of taking divine flight

The substantial data of my brain accumulates over time
Your love cost me more debt than committing a catastrophic crime
I am resilient and radiant like the illuminating sun in the desert climate of Arizona
I can't deny the heat of the moment we both experienced...I remember the aroma - 

The aroma of our replenishing, precious adoration
I remember our rather lovely, gracious experimentation
Your arduous beauty makes me feel like the wondrous clouds above
Your treacherous ways sought forgiveness and mercy veiled you with love

My darling love,
I feel like my longing mind is occupied with your care and cheer
What am I thinking of?
I am thinking about your hopeful halo of light that gives me no fear

Hopefulness shines in your fearless eyes
Liberty is for us to sift out the awful lies
