Words can mend or break a heart
They do hurt and tear us all apart
I am sick of mean and rude people
They don't seem to care...cruel fool…

Words can mend or break a heart
They injure the soul from the start
I am so tired of society's labels and hateful speech they say
They don't seem to mind my ocean of tears all night and day

Words can mend or offend the sensitive mind
They can be a cure or be a disease of any kind
I am so scared and shake with frustration, you see?
Swallow your sick pride and offensive words of vanity 

Words -- I wish they weren't so
Sometimes, I wish I can disappear
Words -- I often sink in woe
Sometimes, I pray to have no fear

Words traumatize my head
Your words glorify my dread
Words hurts me so as a whole
Words sink deep and takes its toll

Your words can make me happy and cheery too
But, your words make me feel crappier than rue

I won't let your words ruin my night tonight
I won't let your words ruin my day tomorrow
I won't let your words run me over with sorrow
I won't pick a fight with you with all my might

But, words like yours hurt tremendously and I don't know exactly why
Your words make me want to die, yet I'm alive and strong...yeah, I try
