Poem
It hurts me to see you hurt and it all just upsets me A friend so dear that your tears also too affect me To me you explain your problems and ask for advice Like why does this happen to me? And how do I deal with this pain that I fight? I often tell her its life and you must choose your decisions wisely She says “I know and it always seems right at first and then sneaks up and bites me” But she always says how much of a great friend that I am And how it would be perfect if I was her man But I’m just a friend a friend to her A friend to the pain that she holds I sit by her side and relate to her problems and listen to the cries of her soul As I listen it screams to me loudly and mostly all the same Expressing to me clearly and elaborating to me why it’s in pain It says it hurts and says it’s in pain and that it is stress Says it can’t let go so it’s mad so what’s the different b/w it being abscessed than upset She herself doesn’t have to tell me a word I recognize by her actions When she is bothered by something I automatically can tell by the way that she’s acting All she constantly feels is pain it’s like she lives as if it runs through here veins As she breathes it, it hurts her and all she really wants is some change That’s what she tells me and for most I’m calm but inside I’m mad as hell And I’m so lucky to have her as friend but if she were mine I would treat her well Sometimes I feel that were as close as the emotions that you store It’s like their three of us me you and the feelings you endure And if I were to name them all their would defiantly be more Like PAIN, DRAMA, MISERY (ECT...) which leaves your heart feeling sore And she always tells me how much of a friend I am and that I am real And that with me she can say what it is or whatever she feels So I asked her what is it about me that appeals And she said you’ve been here from the start and you’ll be here when I heal
