Making the Adjustments 

If characteristics defines a man

Then I do not choose to be categorized and placed in a box by the norms of society.

It is my choice to level up, and exhaust all possibilities while paving new roads. 

It is my duty to watch where my feet tread, as I navigate my way through this life. 

I choose not to carve unseen scars with my words, actions, or indifferences. 

Instead I will nurture my environment for absolute focus on the essence of my life lyrics. 

I seek self-investments into my inner man, with full understanding it’s alright to be my own comforter.

It is my responsibility to take daily reflection, on the unexamined and weakness of my life. 

I remind myself as an alarm clock, that there is no benefit in fear of the unknown. 

I will not allow my mind and heart to be cemented in past failure starting one second ago. 

I will move to the beat of perseverance and fortitude as my rhythm.

Head held up, chest out, with a uncanny sway in my shoulders as I walk forward. 

It is my great responsibility to be a continuous student of unfiltered self-mastery.

Peeling multiple complex layers of myself as I evolve discovering new roads on my journey.
