Still Around Although Departed. Although out of reach and out of touch Although they are no longer seen by eye Losing someone you love dear Doesn’t mean they completely gone or die For like a gentle warm summer breeze That whispers and caresses cherished memories kept in the album of out hearts Of precious moments Of which our loved ones Live again and are apart For they are still around us And never really left our side But are at last free to fly And settle on our hearts Like a colourful painted butterfly Every time I see a perky robin Our a red poppy in a field of gold A horse with a new born foal Read a verse from the great book The greatest story ever told A silver ribboned flowing stream A rugged mountain Or landscape of vibrant green A steady stroll through a forest Joyful birdsong a squirrel on the ground An abundant place of stillness And true treasures are found The diamonds that shine and sparkle bright at night Within a dark velvet sky A rainbow after the rain A pleasant tranquil ambling country lane A heartfelt smile from a new born baby So precocious and so warm The dawn chorus And the majestic sunrise at dawn An allotment where you used to sew And after labour you’d watch them grow All these things remind me of you And the things you used to love and do Someday soon we will meet again In a beautiful place far from here Where pain and suffering will be gone And love peace and harmony will reign With no war hate or fear Then I'll hold you in my arms again Looking happier and so healthy than before A place we’ll wander Through the lush flowered gardens Hand in hand And ride horses toward the sun On a wave kissed beach of golden sand Play like children and sing with joy and praise From out hearts And live for eternity And will never again Be apart.
