As time slowly passes each day
While moments drag on every night
I sit here thinking how I can't do it
I can't just give up this fight
Wondering why I'm the one left here standing in the rain
Facing more and more pain
I completely believe her love for you is in vain
And all this is making me insane
No one, however, do I any longer blame
Because of sitting here saying "woe is me"
I've finally been able to finally see
Instead of being torn apart
From a broken heart
Focus on whay you and I had right from the start
Such as we hated when we were apart
We had laughter joy and kisses
We had tears pain and wishes
We had family and friends
Together would never end
We had holding on and letting go
Always coming back to one another for more
We had hellos and the goodbyes
We had the onlg deep lookin the the others eyes
And somethimes the tears I would cry
You seen or heard them and then take a deep sigh
We had moved on with our lives
We had known we'd see each one again and emotions would rise
We had that time when she needed space
God what I would do to take her place
And be the one lost in you sweet charms
Being held tightly in your strong arms
But for the moment I remain right here
However I no longer have her or anything to fear
Because even though she has and I don't have you
Here's my plan for what I'm gonna do
Stop dweeling on the negative
About you not being here with me
Believe in the positive because you and I were meant to be
Things take time
Your still off in the distance
Putting up quite a resistance
When her space is needing to be widened
And the screaming is done
I'll be right here baby with open arms in which you can run
But from here on out
No matter what is said or what is done
There will still be no doubt
She may have you now for the moment
Hoping you will for her change
But I've always been the one to love you for the man you are
Even if the words by her are spoken
Between us love was never broken
I love you in the ways she cannot 
But she can't take away my moments with you that I got
All has been said and she can take her bow
Because she's taken you from me for now
But she can never take away all we had ans still have today
A love with trust and a passion of intensity
Can't just let this get away 
That has always been real
Through all we feel
We had love that's still strong
We have it now is that so wrong?
