My soul* acknowledges You, my God for Who You are…
…Majestic in Your grace that’s never afar
…Splendid in Your goodness brighter than any star
…Wondrous in Your glory, drawing me to Your saving altar.

My soul praises You, my Lord, as I delight in Your joy…
…Subduing my problems that annoy
…Assuring me Your presence and power’s convoy
…Granting me with Your provisions for Your work I can employ.

My soul worships You, my Father, as I listen to Your instruction…
…Truths helpful to my miraculous conversion 
…Statutes ready for my revival and rejuvenation
…Precepts vital toward my maturity’s sanctification. 
  
My soul trusts You, my Saviour, as I hope in Your promises…
…Faithful are they like Your forgiveness that cleanses
…Immutable, remaining steadfast throughout all ages
…Reliable, though doubt within me, oppressively surges.

My soul yields to You, my Mentor, as I listen to Your counsel…
…Guiding me thru life’s puzzle to learn by its challenging hassle     
…Leading me from vanity’s dazzle to vanquish its futile bustle
…Teaching me to flex spiritual muscle to build divine testimony-castle.

My soul yields to You, Holy Spirit, as I submit to Your will…
…Perfect in its entirety that You want me to fulfill
…Virtuous in every angle where You direct me to keep still 
…Blessed in each aspect which moves me to reach sacrifice’ hill.

My soul esteems You, O, Christ, as I wait for Your coming…
…Reminder for faithful soulwinning and Gospel-proclaiming
…Inspiration to labor, beholding Your glorious acclaiming 
…Excitement of eternal fellowship so truly heart-warming.

*Psalm 16:2 O my soul, thou hast said unto the LORD, Thou art my Lord: my goodness extendeth not to thee.
