the gunmen and the long night
peacefully the innocent
lay to sleep at night 
never they realized
how long the night would be
cos  usually they sleep 
with peace till the down
of a new morning

the gunmen and the long night

it was a peaceful night 
till the gunmen invaded our 
streets
the night was quite
while we sleep in peace 
the sudden gunshot 
the sudden noise
invaded our peaceful night 
what a night a long night

the gunmen and the long night
peacefully the innocent
lay to sleep at night 
yet  the gunmen are 
already against our usual
peaceful night 
cos they bleed horror
to our home  breaking down 
our doors 
pointing their iron guns
to our peaceful heads
while they rob us from 
all our valuable properties
never did we expect a horror
in our peaceful home 
what a night
what a long night 


the gunmen and the long night
peacefully the innocent
lay to sleep at night
not knowing the gunmen
are about to be on their usual
business at night on our homes
is sad despite the security service
in our cities still 
the rat can always find the holes 
to our peaceful doors 
we never had an intensive
intimidation before like that of 
the gunmen and the long night
