Poem

There’s only so much one person can sustain 
And I’ve seem to reach my peak
No longer may I be able to go forward
Because it seems that I’ve grown to weak 

Drained from what you’ve thrown at me 
I just can’t absorb anything more
That chip on my shoulder has grown so much
That I’m down to the floor

My toleration has hit capacity 
Whether I like it or not
Held on for this long 
So why now let it drop 

Though I definitely don’t want it to end
I have to acknowledge my needs
And we have to realize that were both young
And have separate lives that we have to lead  

My limit your limit
Don’t think we should go for another
Shouldn’t press our luck
Or increase our chances of despising each other

But I have hit that point
Where it’s impossible to ignore 
I know that I had enough
And in all reality couldn’t take anymore

No more stalling or procrastinating 
I don’t seem to need help
Tired of hiding my feelings
And sick of fighting myself

Though I love you to death
This will only take a minute
I’ve gone though it all with you
And have finally reached my LIMIT
