The Inflated Nation! Americans growing wider by the minute! Is there a Russian collusion behind this illusion? (Now, there's a breaking news headline with real meat in it) (Mashed potatoes, ah,don't forget, drowning in a greasy, gravy pit?) Served at your table, by your waiter, most able, Michael Avennati. Yes, that one. Indicted for fraud, perjury and tax evasion. He suggests, this evening, the largest Porterhouse steak, claiming, its really quite small? And a salad to keep you healthy,(a farce) with mounds of dressing, greasy and oily. "Don't forget all the bread and all the butter we can eat, Michael, this we beg of you!" Clothes have to keep expanding at break neck speed! "Comfortable" is the word, de jour! We don't need clothes in sizes anymore, Since zippers and buttons flew out the door. Now we have elastic waistlines made, To accomodate , the balloon inside. Lied to, the worst sin of all. That we of large girth can look good in anything at all? Once there were sizes, do you recall? Clothes signaled you, SOS! "Stop overeating now, or you look like a mess." You are already planning on a not so slimming luscious desert! Black Forest Cake, Pumpkin cheesecake. perchance or apple pie, you are drooling to consume it. They all swim in sexy, whipping cream. In addition, wine before dinner, some fool told you, it's keeps you thinner? "Comfortable"clothes are now the rage, Masking large derrières, bulbous tummies, thunder thighs and large waistlines that are now adored on the American fashion page. Clothes designers are onto you! The new sizes range from pup tent to circus size made and created to hide and disguise, the adipose you. The terribly, tragic and sad part of this, People killing themselves by food with diseases quite rank and fatal. Heart disease, diabetes, high cholesterol, to name just a few. Plus your suffering skeleton: legs, hips and painful, suffering backs. Your body can't handle these epicurean attacks. Don't you want to live long? What is it with you? Your children do not want to bury you. Do all you can to stay alive as long as you possible. Oh, how your children love you! It's up to you, to honor your body. And remember, too, your children will mimic all your food patterns, too. Don't they deserve more? I think that they do! Wishing all of us sensibility and long lives. And those of our children and grandchildren. A moment on the lips? Forever on the hips! Panagiota Romios 4/14/2019
