"50 Words for Poe: Baskervilles" Baskervilles was loping over graves digging dirt for bones sniffing evidence of dead souls counting tomes it flayed time & bled the gut of it’s own black soul ate it inside out howling, in fast pursuit, the dog was a Dam b**** She’d been set out on the fells to finally kill the soul of a dead poet burnt as a witch Sad Hound of Hell she was lost counting bones of the long lost dead instead Cursed by a lover who on her tears he languorously & licentiously fed “Love me”, she said “Love me”, she begged “End it, I will,” replied eyes burning coals red Sad Hound of Hell Never fed No ‘Sleep of the Loved’ to close her eyes to sleep in warm bed a loving master's hand on her head Instead, She’d been set out on the fells to finally kill the soul of a dead poet burnt as a witch a paltry existence when there were rare jewels caskets of unplundered stories of her own caged in her head The Baskerville howled! Her ghostly death pang echoed over night blanketed Hollow Hills - in her great paws a Cobalt Blue quill of "Freedom" the quill sang - the stench of her fetid breath from her great jowls drooled envy as she stalked fast past the fresh midnight blooms their faces raised to La Luna wilted as if acid singed, the weeping willows sighed & they crooned Baskervilles' eyes burned holes in the sky then lowered to the dark nothing of Endlessness all around - SILENCE - not an owl hooted not one creature of Lost Lovers Woods dare to make sound She’d been set out on the fells to finally kill the soul of a dead poet burnt as a witch A small sacrifice the killing of this soul - for once she had done this for him the curse would be lifted her true love would be found she would be whole no more fleas and hunger no longer a hound grovelling for crumbs in the dirt ne'er longer unseen, unheard, nor unfound Her love would be returned tenfold with all manner of come kingdom delights for killing of this soul she would gladly kiss Death to live forever as daemon woman with her familiar Incubus, to lay down with Love for once her very own soul she would sell to lay down with Hell become his Darling Forever His Sorceress His Sweet Succubus (LadyLabyrinth/2019) https://youtu.be/aXA5YDpIj10 "Sweep", Blue Foundation “Evil indeed is the man who has not one woman to mourn him.” “There's a light in a woman's eyes that speaks louder than words.”
