"Suspended between The Immensities" Suspended between the Immensities She throws flames from her eyes Love’s never perfect, When is the perfect time? A woman is imperfect A Life corroded, a heart that’s been suffocated broken becomes hard as Jade Real Life never rhymes She wades out through The Shallows past their fear of The Deep and it is in this lucid moment she realises she has woken from Dark Night’s drugged and dreadful sleep She will take her Ocean on arms open to embrace the next incoming tempest storm A certain courage is required to face it full flesh on Her heart is still beating a fast metronome it runs the bitter race the metal inside her will ignite St Elmo's Fire to find, light up and understand in time, a certain unfamiliar face Suspended between the Immensities of Light and Dark She is the electric storm come to defibrillate a new lost lover’s heart and mind gone blind somewhere suspended in The Deep he sleeps his Dark Night The Deep Dark of Lost Time Love’s never perfect, When is the perfect time? A man is never perfect you could pick his soul clean whistle disenchantment through it break it like a fading wishbone sew a thread through his lips to stop his heart from speaking A man is never perfect Sometimes a woman even less A Dead man walking is the split treasure box from some broken Broken bent out of shape from a shipwreck washed in on the perceived shortcomings and turning of his tide He is trying to somehow make it home he’s all swallowed bitter hurt and pride The real treasure spills from his heart and soul you could hear him if you know how to listen well see his heart is like a giant conch shell place the conch shell next to your ear you’ll eventually hear his mysteries speak loud and clear good and bad Light and Dark Suspended between The Immensities where all of his ghost stories hide like precious jewels, all golden lit and sparkling Suspended between the Immensities Love’s never perfect, When is the perfect time? Comfort is never found in the jagged rocks that hug The Shallow shore Real life never rhymes (LadyLabyrinth/2019) “They make glorious shipwrecks those who are seeking new worlds”
