"50 Words for Poe: Revenant" Everywhere he looks for Her his melancholic Ghost Girl does our lachrymose ignoble Phantom in his own thunder storm In the Wind Song he listens Her elusive whispers hail from another dimension echolocation through the Never Slept portals bounce off grave plots where jumping grey golems hide wedding rings & gold crucifixes She exists invisible in ultra violet blue form circumplexus Phantom walks with the sleepless on a hot breeze he flies to Hell e're day & night ‘tis Her he seeks through Forest of the Dead Trees knocking over sullen Black Monks kissing old Bats in their Belfries To find Her he burns his feet on the backs of blind and soulless people Phantom walks with Angels feet barely touching cold snow they sing songs of a lost King he meets Him in the wrong row on a Maunday Thursday at the In-Between Show Phantom walks with the name of Dante he swallows Holy Water There he remotely seers Her enslavement to another’s secret slaughter Phantom sings to Her on a slipstream In that dead place of red eyes before glowing brimstone in the Canto IV with Virgil, his pet crow Nine Concentric Circles in the Hellish In-Between past absent humans ignorant of what’s before them what’s unseen An army of black gargoyles Halloween on deadly night wings commence ripping souls from the sleeping sleepless in their sleepless dreams Raven Midnight Blue knows, they watch and wait for Her in the Weeping Willows Black bleeding hearts and horny beaks do drink up their familiars Warlocks and Witches call in their brooms and the Devil plays his billiards He finds Her on the run in the lifeless No-Go-Zone in a sticky web that’s spun In the Gloaming glow worms have sucked out a black-holed Sun there She waits at the gallows of endless execution facing a dead-end baring the Black Cross of Blue Nun She exists with the invisible unseen looking for a lost daughter in the absent In-Between Purple in the heart Kills a tongue full of blue bruises Another lost mind in Hell once-upon-a-time confused Her bleeding red blood into blue bruises Purple are the robes She now wears to rule Her (LadyLabyrinth/2019) https://youtu.be/Ceup8anv94A Draw Your Swords/Angus Stone “Freedom is never given; it is won.” https://youtu.be/lbq4G1TjKYg Down by the Water/P.J.
