Poem
If I had it once and now I have not Then what was it I had and now I have not Could I touch it or hold it and feel, I fear not It was neither cold nor was it hot It was there in subconcious in the back of my brain It came to me fleetingly, now and again Then poof! Magic lantern, It did just disappear Alzheimer's disease, is what I did fear I cannot recall if it was a little or a lot I mislaid what I had and now I have not So what was this thing that was mislayed, forgot I am afraid that I lost the plot Each plot has a theory, this theory is mine A plot like a ruler must keep a straight line Diverse left or right and you will go astray Like a train on the track, direct you must stay Focus and think, then you will be fine Think like a train, think stay on the line It is easy to lose the plot You either remember or you do not The plan in the plot is to be very strict The plot is a play, so keep to the script Because once the plot has been lost It comes at an incredible cost Your brain goes all midgely pooh You no longer know what to do Rational thinking slips out of your mind You do daft silly things, you know the kind Put the kitten to bed, dim out the light Then throw the baby out for the night Ask on the health of someone who is dead Or search for the glasses that sit on your head Put the kettle on the hob with no water inside Or forget to bring the ring for the bride So keep a good grip on your plot and stay sound Not many plots that were lost have been found A plot well maintained may well keep you sane Now where did I put those car keys again
