Poem
On the spur of the moment forecast by eternal script in the stars The Bard strummed his guitar and sung a ballade from heart’s lute Wild horses would not keep him away from her as he unbridled his Passion bare back and stripped his sorrows on cobble stones’ echo A serenade for his Gypsy Princess high up in the chamber of love To flow with her bells bangles and whistle under star a studded sky Juliet had a whole balcony named after her with wild ivy and roses Nestling and hanging from wicker baskets to shade marble steps and The portal for entry with brass knocker and carved oaken columns Curtains were drawn as night settled in dusk musk and fragrance He called for a lock of her golden hair and a key for her heavenly vows And consummate covenant of promises to unveil her magnificent smile Had once given her a nectarine which had seeded into blossom at last A smooth fruit ripe to harvest now that secrecy and waiting had matured ‘I know why you’re here but where are you exactly my tender Romeo' she whispered in caution ‘my prudish father has blinded my eyes with dire Mask of velvet and silk to protect his only honour ‘what a kill joy he is’ ‘Let down your hair my sweet maiden so I can follow the trail and Your sweet scent of lavender milk and honey and step up the ante’ Inside the padre was quite oblivious as he sat in reverberant prayer Absolving all sin and damnation in the name of penance and guilt But the neighbours became rather worried for the enchantment might Break some rules and the plaster un-lovingly attached to the façade ‘Can’t the lad use the back door or fire escape must he climb onto Fine woven plats’ will nature hold what harmonious duet alludes to ‘Has he no fear of the full force of retribution and where is the shame’ Under the sound of his tune the bars of the window gave rise to mercy As cast iron welding came apart melted like wax of a candle’s perfume Now there was light a fine crocheted blanket and down feather pillow A boudoir full of pleasure an Ottoman love chair for poetry and loins It is not a taboo to show a tattoo to the bold chevalier in night’s satin When the delta meanders and the singing of ludos and cudos adjoin ‘If you had not come now I might have had to be barren for life’ so Wild feverish pursuit and reception pushing and pulling crescendo And the glow on two satisfied faces mounted sensual tender caress Copious adulation waxed waned and championed Venus and Eros Oriental carpets muted moaning and groaning ‘Carpe Diem’ it was Oh father almighty on the life of my mother what possesses these wicked Maniac youngsters ‘what punishment for naked blemished innocence’ The virgin’s protector finally imagined full frontal nudity and flash floods Fun of all sorts of unspeakable positions too unbelievably out of mission But father ‘Where you not in love once with Mama maybe in wedlock but still’ No need for your blessing ‘go back to your crude crashed heart and pale rosary’ Youth is no crime and age in as such no achievement but ‘Thanks for my life’ And in truth and all modesty ‘do not wet your knickers but be firmly informed That my Prince Rodeo came to mount me as long as we live while you rot in hell 21st February 2019
