Poem
[Verse 1] I’ve been praying, but the answers are few, Pouring out my heart, Lord, I’m reaching for you. Hoping for a light to guide me through, So I can know what I’m meant to do. I’ve cried in silence, no one to wipe my tears, Surrounded by shadows, facing my fears. God, how long will this darkness stay? I’m longing for the morning, to find my way. [Pre-Chorus] Will lonely evenings turn into light? Will there ever be a sunrise in the night? Will this broken heart find its way to heal? Can daylight dry the pain I feel? [Chorus] I need a miracle, a spark of hope to believe, A death to all these questions, new life in me, I need a miracle, to rise above my yesterdays, Faith for tomorrows, just speak the word and lead the way. The past will be behind me, I’ll celebrate a brand new day, I’ll celebrate a brand new day. [Verse 2] Once again, I’ll hear the birds sing, Take in life’s fragrance, feel the joy it brings. I’ll embrace the beauty in every smile, And remember how it feels to care for a while. Maybe I’ll take a risk at romance, Such crazy thoughts, do I dare take a chance? In the light, I’ll come alive, It’ll feel like breathing Heaven’s air inside. [Bridge] Hold on, the dawn is drawing near, Every tear, every fear, it disappears. Just when you think you’ve lost your way, God’s light is shining, turning night to day. Keep going, don’t give up the fight, Your miracle’s coming, just hold on tight. In the darkness, you’re never alone, He’s bringing you home, He’s bringing you home! [Outro] Here comes the sun, a brand new day! Here comes the sun, a brand new day!
