Poem

Lately I've struggled with my ability to write
Writers block has been killing me at night
I couldn't do anything about it even though I was willing to try
Now I'm slowly regaining my ability to write

Scribbled out lines and scrunched up pieces of paper
I can't think of anything to write so I'm surrounded by broken pens
I may get 1 or 2 lines here and there so I jot them down hoping I can use them later
But right now I'm unable to write so I'm forced to hold my emotions in

But now I've made it through the storm and I'm not sorry for the mess I left
I grew up on Wu-Tang so now my pen is reloaded you better protect your neck
I'm battling a thousand thoughts and trying to have a grand day
Hoping God gives me the chance to marry Ariana Grande

I grew up trying to be just Like Eminem 
Now I just want to write something and have him say it's good and it be genuine 
But I doubt that will ever happen, even I doubt my writing ability at times
New ideas sometimes just feel like a different way to word past lines 

I'm not the best poet ever, but I have the courage to speak about any and everything 
And I know my pen has a deadly sting 
I've sat alone with my pad for a while and writers block was my worst enemy 
But now I'm slowly getting inspiration again and my pen has a new found energy 

I've been struggling with my ability to write 
But writers block is no longer killing me at night
I'm finally able to express on paper what I've been feeling inside 
Writers block has gone and I've rediscovered my ability to write
