Poem
To my ex you can paint the picture of me being an evil ex just make sure you do it beautifully Tell him how we used to be How you played hangman with the truth but the noose was on me Go on tell him all the bad I did tell him that I ruined we Whoever comes next please I beg you sit with them Not just to get yourself out of trouble but also to see how this s affecting them Cause it's harder when the only one you open up to becomes the one you can't trust Start going crazy because you've convinced me walking away is not love. But my hearts breaking because I don't know if there are 2 or 3 people in the words us us You took my concerns for accusations Maybe if you knew how much this hurt you could of saved us The next sentence I say is gonna hurt me hard But love him the way you loved me at the start Cause Lord knows I would've given you the world with the pennies in my pocket I'm not saying I was perfect Far from it But it hurts when the person who hurt you is more concerned with being in trouble than being toxic And I can already hear you shouting at this poem like But you weren't perfect either If I correct you, you'd say I'm acting like I'm perfect Whoever comes next needs to be a fighter Cause you're the most difficult girl I've ever met in my life But you're worth it when you get it right You can tell me I handled things wrong or I changed up But one thing you can never say is I gave up And I pray he won't either And when you say to yourself "I don't even know why I'm with this guy" I hope you tell yourself "looks fade even when love doesn't" Cause he's messed up a bunch it's still you that he's in love with And even when times get hard and he acts out because he's scarred and scared Understand he's vulnerable so cover his card before you pull it There's not a single line in this piece with bitter intentions I enjoyed every minute with my lover n best friend Waking you up with good morning princess and forehead kisses I've learned a lot from losing you And it hurts that it won't be you I apply it to So yeah to your next boyfriend, all the best... Cause you're gonna need it And when you feel defeated I hope she's there when you need it You've got yourself a diamond, I just hope you can wipe enough dust off to see how worth it she is @cap
