I WANT TO WRITE

I want to write
And voice my thoughts
But a problem i have
Know not how to write

I want to write
A letter to my love
A letter of love
But i have know hands

I still want to write
A long letter of expressions
Of  happiness and joy
But i got no paper

In this dungeon
Full of rats and filth
Strong dark iron bars
No paper within reach

I want to write a letter
To my wife and children
To apologise for mine deeds
And beg for their mercies

I want to write a letter
Giving reasons to my family
To tell them of the fatefull day
That gave a free ride 
To this dungeon of mine

I want to write a letter
But my hands are no more
Beaten by the rocks in the mines
Cut by the pebbles in the mines

I want to write a letter
And warn all out their
To play by their cards
And not fall prey of the blue men

I want to write a letter
But i have no pen
Papers are not available
And the bell has rang


I want to write a letter
But i have to run to parade
And manage to escape a few painful whips
And to lengthen my stay in the world.
