"It is known that the Bible, in its hundreds of different translations, is the most widely distributed book in human history. The bible has been enormously influential, and not only among the religious communities that hold it sacred (by the way, Christianity is not a religion, it is a way of life Through Christ Jesus). The literature, art, and music of the Western culture, in particular, are deeply indebted to biblical themes, motifs, and images. Translations of the Bible, not only influenced literature but also shaped the development of languages. Another writer said this; “We tend to think of the Bible as a book—and we’re not entirely wrong—but the Bible wasn’t always bound between two covers. The Bible we know today took a long journey through many eras, communities, and places before it became the sacred text we recognize today. The word Bible comes from the Greek word Biblia, which means “books.” This is a more accurate description of what the Bible is—a collection of many books, like a library. Each biblical book has a unique history and took a distinctive route on its way to inclusion in the Bible.” All Christians are called into the ministry. However, being in a ministry doesn’t mean we are entitled to serve ourselves and in the process, claim a title. It means we serve God by serving others. We are speaking and serving directly on His behalf to others. We trade selfishness for selflessness. This brings glory to God. We bring honor to Him and not to ourselves. Serving God is An Honor. It’s A Privilege. Be Thankful To God For the Privilege of Being ‘A Born-Again Believer’. I am fully persuaded that any challenges that come to a Bible-informed Christian are never too great to be overcome because God through Jesus Christ has provided a way out of every circumstance and situation through His Promises that are recorded in the Bible. God wants us (those who have accepted Jesus Christ, the Anointed One and His anointed) to take Him at His Word and be determined to receive the Blessings that doing His Word brings. We know that the enemies of God are there to try to create difficulties for us at every turn and step we take, but a Word-Knowledgeable Christian can always triumph in Christ Jesus by following the instructions as outlined in the Scripture. This message I am preparing is to help you and I increase our knowledge of what God has provided for us through His Promises. I want to Encourage you to take hold of these promises, stand on them, and make those that meet your particular need a part of your daily lives. Study and meditate on the verses diligently, so that you may get them down into your spirit so that when negative circumstances and situations present themselves, you will be able to automatically bring them out of your mouth at every opportunity you have to act on the Word. What does the word ‘Privilege’ mean for a Christian with God? It means a special right, advantage or immunity granted or available only to us through our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ the Anointed One and His anointing. He is the Way, the Truth and the Life and no one comes to God except through Him! When we allow God to become our final Authority and guideline for our daily living, we will be on the right path to achieving all the benefits accruing to us through Christ’s redemptive work on the cross at Calvary. (2 Timothy 2:15) (KJV) says; “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” (NASB) says; “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth.” The majority of the Scriptures that I’m presenting to you, will be in the King James Version. When other translations are used, it will be outlined. These Scriptures will bring victory to your life, as they are bringing victory to mines as we diligently study and act on them because the Scriptures says; “as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works (action) is dead also.” (Romans 8:14-17) (NIV) says; "For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God. The Spirit you received does not make you slaves so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him, we cry, 'Abba Father’. The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.” (Excerpts from my book: "Privileges of a Believer") Ministry Elder Julius L. Lawrence Jr. of Communication/Encouragement Counseling
