National Bible Month in our country is January*
Asserting and affirming the Scriptures as God’s Word of victory
Testifying truth of eternity, skepticism cannot bury
Instilling in minds the need to trust the Gospel story
Opening avenues for preaching toward heaven’s territory
Nurturing spirituality to vanquish hatred’s fury
Awaking souls against alarming sin-caused misery
Leading hearts to love the Lord and one's neighbors for His glory.

Bible as sword of Spirit is authored by the Creator of great might
Instruction it gives enables us to do what’s right with peace delight
Book of the Law** props fortitude for good success-height
Light and lamp of divine virtues for faith-journey day and night
Earnestly educating lives with holiness’ sight.

Meditating Saviour’s precepts assures redemption’s jubilation
Optimizing Christ's powerful statutes help overcome temptation
Nourishment of the perfect Guide grants wisdom against destruction
Teachings of omniscient Counselor encourage with exhortation
Hoisting triumphant service of compassionate reaching-out function! 

*Signed on January 5, 2017 by the President of the Philippines, His Excellency Rodrigo Roa-Duterte, Proclamation No. 124 declares “the month of January of every year as National Bible Month culminating in the last week thereof as National Bible Week.”  Likewise, Republic Act No. 11163 is the “National Bible Day Act” declaring every last Monday of January as National Bible Day.  Such was signed on December 20, 2018 by the Congress of the Philippines.

**Joshua 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
