Poem
Even in a world of people, there are times we all feel alone I've been to many broken places, I've never had a place to call my home But when I'm struggling with life I know I will make it When I put on my Linkin Park playlist This poem may come across as corny as I pay tribute to my favourite band of all time But there's no better feeling than when you feel a connection to the artist and understand all their rhymes There were times when a fake smile was my costume But I felt better as soon as I started playing Linkin Park at full volume Their songs helped me through everything from depression to break-ups We make mistakes to see where the lesson will take us I used to judge myself and wonder if I could have made a better choice But I felt better as soon as I heard Mike and Chester's voice I may walk alone, but I know as I travel my path I'll make it to where I need to go as I play castle of glass I sing along to every word as if the song was personally wrote for me The words are so relatable it feels like they sang every note for me Linkin Park helped me through depression and to overcome my fears I sometimes cry when I hear Chester's voice as he's no longer here I'd give anything to bring him back He's always been an angel for us but now he finally has his wings attached Sometimes we all need to spend time alone Sometimes a playlist of our favourite artists is all we need to make a home When I'm going through something I know I will make it When I turn up the volume on my Linkin Park playlist
