Poem
There’s a lot I don’t talk about So there’s a lot that you don’t know. I write to release emotional pressure Every time i script a flow The pain eats away my sunshine Until I’m left in shadow Fighting to regain my place in the Light Is the hardest fight I know Been learning new techniques To Freak these lined sheets You can ask about me But you won’t hear about me on any of these streets I stay completely off the radar Been dealing with emotional issues With the dark side like I’m Vader There’s a time to go hard and pray hard And wait until the times right Pray thru the dark times the hardest And know that after night Comes the sunlight.. You should stand for what You believe in Even if sometimes that’s a hard fight. I sit down to write these verses and My hands Strike the surface of the table I’m Ready willing and spiritually able I know A man can only succeed if his foundation is stable Standing on two legs is good But there’s 4 to a good table I’ve learned to never eat with my enemies I keep my heart upon my Fam And although sometimes I fall and crawl Falling down is part of learning how to stand Trusting too many is the downfall to any man But finding God is the only way For a man to truly understand That The Lord tests a man to improve the quality of his mind. Withstand the testings To learn the lessons The blessings come in time Hotter forges make stronger steel Solid faith makes faith stronger still Wether or not someone believes Good God! The Lord is always real! Contemplation of this and more is always how I feel Bible Study and baptism Have been Part of my soul searching Reaching for a higher pinnacle knowing that life ending Is for certain And when the show is over And the Lord starts lowering my curtain I want to be free And in a place that puts an end to all my hurting There’s a higher pinnacle that I can reach I hear of it every time I hear my Pastor preach And He’s only repeating what it was that Jesus would teach Heaven is so real It’s just a little bit out of reach... The race is not given to the swift or the strong But to those that endure The world is spiritually sick and The Good Lord is the cure. The Lord is to be magnified In all that we do. Neither angels or demons Or powers of darkness Can topple what He can do. I know the Lord has been Good to me And I want to share what He has done The truth of Life Is Jesus Christ Lord may Your Will be done. I Love You Father.
