Poem
‘Twas the night before Christmas, there was snow on the ground The big fat man in red was nowhere to be found The elves had now finished loading presents on the sleigh But there was no one to deliver them for Christmas day. They phoned the police and reported him missing The policemen joked “He’s under mistletoe kissing" But no one had seen him there was now a big panic The elves' and reindeer's were running round frantic. They then had a call from a concerned Mr Monk Who'd found Santa Claus unconscious and drunk The elves' jumped into action and took the spare sleigh Then headed for the scene at Monterrey Bay. They found him flat out where Mr Monk had said But he wasn't moving and they thought he was dead An elf said he needs something strong, black and hot And headed for Starbucks and bought the strongest they got. Someone held his nose and they poured coffee down His big white beard was starting to turn brown At last there was movement and he opened his eyes He then said “I’m starving; I need a big Mac and fries.” They went to the drive through and got him some food Everyone was now happy and in a good mood They headed back to the ' pole ' and they all did shiver "Keep moving "said Santa, "We've presents to deliver" He delivered all the presents sack after sack Then said "We're done Rudolf, we can now head back" Of course Mr Monk was the hero of the hour But for his swift action things may have turned sour.
