I There’s only a few things I take seriously 
One of them is writing furiously 
Cleverly spinning verses 
Inked in cursive 
Certainly no stranger to adversity
Head nodding
Word dropping 
non stopping
Versing with an urgency
Invasive with my mental’s
Liked I termed the word insurgency
Laser refined this vision of mine
Is Precision like it’s surgery
These thoughts flow 
faster than Quicksilver  
Or the element known as mercury
Time steadily keeps on hurtin me
What’s it worth to me?
Has it ever really worked for me?
These questions whisper up my spine
And linger on my mind
God says we have to walk by faith
So should that make me walk blind?
I’m wondering if I can read between the lines
I’ve been out of line
Maybe a time or two
That all depends upon who your talking to..
I find myself by myself
Looking in the mirror 
like who the  F  are you?!
There are some days I’m outta my head
As soon as I get outta my bed
I’m reaching my limit 
Hate to be the one who has to repeat

Some people are ignorant 
And color blind
Cuz my Patience meter 
Is pushing towards red
Their wheel keeps on spinning
But obviously the hampster is dead
People always judge me like 
They judge a book by its cover
I’ve learned hard lessons
Like never let those closest to me
Also be close to any lover
I love my best friends 
like I love my brothers
But betrayal is the reason
There are so many being buried
By their mothers
My whole life I’ve been the one
Always underestimated 
Faded
Jaded
Never thinking that I would be the one
To stand and say I’d made it
I’m so committed 
The shade you throw
Only keeps me shaded
Salt and pepper 
Silver haired
The ladies love that I’m distinguished 
I’m talented with the pen skills
I flow like water
You say your fire
But this talent leaves you extinguished 
Diminishing 
And finishing
Whatever it is your witnessing 
Better bring one of your boys 
Cuz I’m hungry 
Like  F, it ima win this thing
I’m in this thing
Writing like I’m feeding an addiction 
Kicking Wisdom and knowledge 
To shine light on your spiritual affliction 
No cursing in my versing
My language is clean
So the message is clear
I’ve been facing down my demons 
While your too fragile 
Too stand and face your fears
I’ve been doing this for years
Writing til you say to stop it
Been having dreams and visions 
I think that I might be a prophet 
I do this as a hobby 
I will never do this to make a profit
Never feeling like I have to battle rap
Any wack or impersonating rapper 
Most only say it but don’t live
95% of y’all are actors
I would rather uplift than light a spliff
I’m too concerned with what comes after
This Life is just a boot camp
And after this we meet the Master
I’m ready to meet Him
The sands of my time 
Keep flowing ever faster
I’m not concerned with anything
But the legacy I’m leaving after..
