Poem
I'm watching everything slipping away And I'm just tip toeing around as the dust fades Hard to display The things of affection and I'm erecting A design that'll leave the mind Wide open and thirsting for wine Just to hold the hand of a empty time But back to the script Before I let my thoughts cause a tempral rift Because time moving to fast and I ain't make a move that'll help lift Us to overstand The aftermath of this nationalist land that causes fear for the life of my kids Trying to find the motivation for a uff to give As each new day lives But my support system is lacking in this Or maybe I just felt a piece of my hurt constantly being toyed with Or my head played with Because the only other thing that comes out is negative And it's just so tough Walking thru the roads that's paved by gold For some other man God damn I'm not the brightest bulb in the pack But I could be the last one that you'll ever have But scratch that thought Back to the thought at hand Trying my best to get on a plan And receive everything I'm supposed to like it was a repremand Other than aggression Or depression Or wishing for a different complexion I'm addressing you Get up on your dean holding ur own controlling ur home and thoughts in ur dome Less talking more being on patrol Put all other emotions on hold And bundle up because the world out there so cold And stop trying to postpone All the succession before opportunity decideds to mess with Some other And you be the one holding the bag So get up off ur ass and get back on track Get back to the hunger Get back to being the thunder A man not only of strength but also of wonder And since night time causes a lack of slumber When ur tummy rumbles remember the feeling Pray more or something as u be star gazing thru the ceiling Thicken up the flesh of the heart Be like an onion peeling Teardrops on other's eyes Just keep fishing and keep reeling It'll catch up But at first it'll be jarring Hard as hell And a bit boring But when it's all over and done And the Earth is set on me before the sun You can rest easy knowing u did everything that could be done...peace
