Poem
There you are you’re sitting down feet planted firmly on the ground staring at a blank screen wrists held just so, your anxiously poised ready to go writing all that you have inside your blinking liquorice windows All you are hearing is white noise fingers tap tap tapping away your travelling solo Capricorn north of the Equator You’re no Miller and she’s an ego full of Jean Harlow batons on Revolution Drums poised a frosty sharp tongued Southern Revelator with a mind a runaway train on the run She tears your soul bit by bit her wings cover your loneliness her sharp beak drawing deep claret your blood like a syringe under your skin you’re split a vacant blurred line between hearts now from a distance her stories are tattooed on your skin SHE, writes on your naked body the word, “FORBIDDEN” Recklessly like a publishing house she opens wide your covers plants her mark she imprints your leaves measures your spine A blind man willing to learn won't ever run her night time turns your mornings into sun renders your pages loose, you come undone Soft suede cover of darkness The darling Succubus drinks you like your her last communion cup she plunders your silk you call her in with your open arms you embrace her unknown face between your palms a conversation in your mind she’s all naked ambition there you smile eyes cloudy Sweet rapture’s disgrace Sleep is your haunting crypt a feeble attempt to escape but not yet, you lie there alone whispering her name in the dark your hands empty yet you are still busy on cerebral waves she rides your heat, she’s a silent scream an engima depraved you taste her lips Limoncello escape one minute you are in Hell the next you're in bliss Her tendrils of thought wrap around you, her slick hot ink envelops you her words are written on your body she speaks through your dreams Octopus legs and arms open wide in your sea grass silver green verdant mind black her words spread o’er your skin you’re in heat lying spent you are now ragged, your fingers tap tap tapping “she's supine and she's non-contretemps” Black ribbons of ink Words read and written on skin Tattoo’s burned a message imprint You climb her mountains The Psycho Paths of her mind the Range of her sweet contempt lips parted a velvet kiss All sweet honey then you swallow her comfort divine so reckless she speaks in tongues your cryptic Limoncello temptress (LadyLabyrinth/2018) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o8kyWO6Bg4Y
