(I apologize in advance for what you are about to read but I just got to release this demon inside)

Dear God,
I was always taught that you gave up your life for me so in turn I gave my life to you and got saved
I thought I was your child so learning from you and hearing your word was something that I craved
I know I am not perfect and I don’t try to be, but whenever I make my mistakes I do repent when I sin
Because I gained knowledge of what to do whenever the devil tries to destroy us and force his way in 
Whenever I was troubled, I knew that I could call your name and you would send an angel to my aid
In the bible it says you are always on time and I trusted that but now my belief in you has started to fade
I was backed into a corner with no way out but I never gave up and just continued to praise your name
I was crying for your help and praying for a different outcome but my situation just remained the same 
I quickly turned to the bible and read all of your scripts pertaining to my current trials and tribulations 
I was hoping that you would let this test be a testimony but you let me down with your manipulations 
I did everything right, I went to church every Sunday and sowed my seeds like you instructed me to do
I listened to your words when you specially said whenever I had a problem to let go and give it all to you
But you let my prayers go unanswered when I was really needing you to come to me and win this fight
Because it was your name I called when I was on my knees at the end of the my bed that horrible night
I magnified your name and gave you glory even when the Devil was winning because I believed in you 
However there was no battle because you outright just handed me over to him and put me through hell
Now I feel like my life was built on a lie and you are not who you say you are. You are just another myth 
So now I will live this so called life without you, as an atheist.
