Why when waiting for a bus You contemplate as time goes by Should I walk and make no fuss Will I be left here high and dry So off you go You start to walk All on your own No one to talk What’s that I hear, as sounds get near Of buses driving fast Then two by two as if to sneer They do not stop they drive right past Why is it when you diligently always pack a brolly Where it stays rolled up and hiding at the bottom of your trolley The sun will always shine each day from Mondays through to Sundays But once there is no brolly at the bottom of your trolley The rain comes down and soaks you right through into your undies And last of all that dreaded queue So which one will you choose Well you can always guarantee As others pass you rapidly That when you spy the till in sight She closes up and says Good Night From Eastbourne down to Arkansas Queues are the same It’s such a bore There is a law that tells you why Without a brolly rain pours from the sky And buses always come in twos To frustrate you get you confused Sod is the reason He made the law It’s known Worldwide It is Sod’s Law…… Entry to Gobsmacks, Bamboozles and Confuses Me Sponsor: Caren Krutsinger 23Oct2018
