Best not to encounter alive
if all that is wanted, is prediction
and then again, better to survive
and so survival become an addiction

Best not to take the footfall of chance
unless the foot-fool should to a cliff edge waltz
but easier to jerk in predestine
to the mastermind of puppet strings

Keep then the complicity 
for dormant in remorse shall return
it’s hollow knife
and with regrets will then abide by life

And if by sandcastles turn to dust
this precious debauch of purpose
upon its death bed lead to meaningless
give no recourse to the utterance of hope

For intractable fear brought this impasse
and to its prison bonded
and by afraid of life itself
all the promise of alive, has ended

Better then not to encounter dreams
nor wake their love from them
but in the shadows best to remain
and never strive to achieve their meaning

When survival is the cost of living

Never look to deep, but linger on the pool of resolutions edge
cling to the strings of the marionette
easier it is to purchase delusion
than to balance the cost of disillusion 
 
Hold fast to obligation
and with dictatorial mouthpiece
explain
the anguish of being human

Take all that desperate grip
and hold on
better it is to survive
unless being alive becomes an addiction
