Poem
I saw you beyond the forest, Jogging your life away…away… I’m actually trying my hardest To get through everyday…but hey, Life is so temporary But, you turned the other cheek Speak to me silently I am still this dorky geek…so, don’t speak Listen intently to what I’m about to say today I’m losing my mind, being somewhat led astray If life gives you flowers, make a beautiful bouquet I need you and want you to stay for a while, okay? First impressions count in my dictionary Give me your dazzling delight But, you turn away – your actions are Contrary To what you say to me tonight I screwed up, But I won’t give up Words whispered in my ears The two words I longed to hear for years Te amo – shed your hearts' fear You will never understand the reason I’m in tears Trees of tranquility is my remedy The wind in my face is fairly chilly Kill me with your crazy state of mind You left me feeling numb and blind You resonate in my brain Te amo – despite the pain Gracias, amigo, pero no me arrepiento I don’t want to take away my pain, I know The first impressions of you Made me feel happy out of the blue But, you don’t know what I’ve been through You should have already knew - yes, all I say is true Then, you’re with somebody else I can only guess – won't second guess myself I’ve been lost and bewildered I have empathy towards being a caged-up bird I never really flew with the herd, anxiety acted like my gird I find living life awfully absurd…how awkward… Your first impressions were sexy Until I figured out your intentions frankly You made out with me and we made love Now, you’re the crow and I’m the dove God is looking down at me from high above Often times, I wonder why I keep musing about you Sometimes, I wonder what you say about me is true You're now my least resort and I left you with a much-needed, last impression My expression is beyond comprehension, not to mention the tension between us…now, that’s an exception You rejected me long ago Still sensitive to the bone I want the dawn to glow… I have more light to show My radiant reception Sweeps away my placid, yet ugly past deception Still liking my free-will future… There’s a chance we both can endure My sins are oh so impure But, I’m hoping that you will be my cure Goodbye, dear love Now, I’m going to rove Te amo, my love Where's my other glove?
