Those wonderful stories of God
My grand ma used to set me at the kitchen table
And tell me bible stories
Some bout Cane and Able
One present gifts and praises to God
The other was jealous killed his brother committed the first murder

Grandma tell those stories of lore
Making sure than I understood
Stories bout David and Goliath
Stories bout Moses and his people
Stories bout injustice
Stories bout Adam and Eve

Those wonderful stories of God
My grand ma would set me at the kitchen table

Stories bout the oldest man alive Methuselah
Stories bout Ruth and Deborah
Stories bout injustice
Stories bout Adam and Eve

What  does God look like
Does He ride a trike
And will he be my friend
Does He like ice cream
Grandma say's no, no, no, some
No, no, no, no Son
But yet He could if He wanted to
God is the creator of all and everything
God even created you and me
I don't know  what I'm missing
He's over here, over there
He is everywhere...
