What would the rich do without the poor? If there was no poor to clean the floor What would the rich do without the poor? If there was no one to guard the door What would the rich do without the poor? When we go to the convenient store? What would the rich do without the poor? When we walk hand in hand by the shore Big house, big man, big property and empty land The poor man has no investment That’s the global assessment My job is to raise them up from the basement And establish a balance environment What would the rich do without the poor? If there was no grocery store? I need someone to clean my dirty shoe I am minutes away from my breakthrough What would the rich do without the poor? I need the doorman and the trash man to empty my garbage pan And I need the poor man who cannot read to farm the land I need the poor man to give the rich man a helping hand And when I am sick and indoor I need someone to take me to the drugstore What would the rich do without the poor? I have never heard of the poor man feeding the rich Because this is God’s eternal gift You could give me all your house and land And all the pigs on your barren land But no one can change this old age tyranny And the familiar musical symphony Many have tried to overturned it but they end up in the ditch And those acting like a clown have to walk away without a frown The rich man’s heart is filled with pride because he can buy his bride He courts his servants and his wives belittle the women Master or servants, friend or companion I am the champion Luxury car, luxury man, the businessman hanging out with the bogeyman What would the rich do without the poor? The poor man counting up his money Getting ready to marry his honey The rich man walked in with his hush money And tore my heart apart causing me to make new start I cried days and night to recapture my loving sweet heart But he left me crying with an empty shopping cart What would the rich do with without the poor? I am really not sure I have always wanted a beautiful blond wife To be loyal and remain by my side To love me, compose me, and help shoulder some of the burden I wanted her to be my only pride and my wholesome bride And to raise me up when I am on my down side I have search the entire universe But everyone I meet wants to be my night nurse I have grown weary of their nonsense verse Their Trojan horse and self-pitying remorse They always treat me as if they are my boss What would the rich man do without the poor? The rich man is rich because somebody helped him The poor is poor because someone is always pitying him He must accept whatever is given to him And he must struggle to make a good score This has always been the grudges in the human race The rich and poor are trying to win the same race Eighty percent of the world lives in poverty And twenty percent of the world accounts for three quarter of the global economy What would the rich do without the poor? I hire you to wash my face and you cast me into the fireplace Hands on my knees fingers under my skirts and your Hot tongue pulling the nourishment from my dry throat You throw the banknotes on the ground And you keep looking at me as if you are astound I have contemplate this irony and I am really not sorry The gap between the rich and poor is always shouting at my door One man controlled all the land and he has the upper hand Give him power and he would wreck the universe in one hour New boat, expensive house and a fireplace over his winter gate What would the poor do without the rich? The poor man likes expensive gifts it is his greatest wish The rich man builds skyscrapers all over the land He has no solid plan; he forced the farmers to play drop hand They gather under the trees early in the morning playing cards in the grave yards for idle money If you judge me by my material possession I will never go to heaven if you ask me the same question The camel can go through the needle’s eye leaving the rich behind What would the rich do without the poor? I was born to love everyone and I hate no one But I was made for that special someone If you do what is proper I will invite you over for supper We must go all the way so stop blocking the driveway My law is not your law; my rule is not your rule, My money is not your money, and my honey is not your mommy We can still be friends but things will never be the same way again Let’s get over these bureaucratic procedures and bring this meandering to a closure My fun is not your fun and my love is not your love our fighting is done What would the rich do without the poor? From the beginning of time we have witnessed the same things at lunch time The rich man standing at the door and the poor man sweeping the floor This is what keeps me alive the hope that I will one day meet my bride Love sustains me and gives power It rekindles the fire in me and open the beautiful flowers around me What would the rich do without the poor? I must continue to endure I will make a grand tour And I will meet you by the shore What would the rich do without the poor?
