PoetrySoup may need to re-think how it allows writers to act as unelected Tyrant of POETRY here. July Morning reads one item, & wants to dictate how I may think, write, worship .... Are we becoming out-and-out racists, to tell people of color, what they may write, as July Morning has been doing? Who invited him/her to even read my work? When you read ... Caveat Emptor. Nothing in the Bible gives Americans a right o make Christian-Americans of anybody. Preach the gospel - not that other cultures must deny they have cultur & wisdom. Jews were NOT asked by Jesus to give up their feasts & festivals, or even Sabbath. The British tried making brown Anglicans of India's people and failed. Instead Gandhi lived among Hindus & Jains, read the Bible & Gita & lived closer to an ideal, Christ-example than billions of Christians ever did. The flag of Morocco in a Moroccan church, or a Chinese flag inside a Chinese church may raise questions ... why is it perfect for our (US) flag to be inside a Church but not any other national flag? You see how warped & biased my FREEDOM of Speech is rendered here on PoetrySoup.com?
