Poem

A Field Of Flowers

Life has always been a field of flowers
Waves of color for miles and miles
Where bees are pleased with a purpose in life
To pollinate, with love, is reaped with smiles
The wind and breeze do tease the young to bloom
to show their colors, young mothers consumed
with the job, of two: the selfish pollute
as patches of void have flourished: no Groom

As the bee disappears; our darkened hearts
The tables will turn. The teeters, won't tot
And though, winters cloud may yield to the spring
Without, a true love; weeds choke out the lot
And yet my heart is not an empty hive
I send out my love, so flowers can thrive
Yet, plastic gardens are shallow at sight
I will find the real thing.... before I die

Life will always be a field of flowers
A wave of color and chances to smile
But the bee will die without purpose in life
If love is not real, we cannot survive!
