Poem
Morning has come, new day is here Predicaments of all sorts are what lie ahead… Morning has come, I don’t have fear Sentiments aren’t manifesting into utter dread… Morning has come, I have become numb I lie on the sofa, feeling like I’m in a coma…hope this won’t last Morning has come, prayed for Kingdom To be rid of traumatic thoughts in the past, time does fly fast Been underestimated for so long I wrote a poem instead of a song I’m sorry that I have been in the wrong… God knows I’ve tried all along…all along… Morning has come – I drank the rum of infinite self-doubt I thank my depression, for it made me stronger than I realize Morning has come, I so want to walk God's gracious route I dunk my head down under water in the river of a million eyes Morning has come, I stop and breathe and pause and think and mentally, emotionally applause New day is here to stay and stray for a while, stricken by an ugly frown and a precious smile Morning has come, I contemplate life and strife momentarily with many-an-effect and its cause Tomorrow and yesterday isn’t really on my mind today and I am not in delusional denial Morning has come It’s motivation to some Motivating to me this particular day… Invigorating on a spiritual level, can’t blame me, no way I pray today is a day of happiness with no dismay I pray today is a day of delightfulness, coming my way I pray today for His divine love to shelter me as He may Morning has come and I pray for His everlasting Kingdom today And the possibilities and opportunities that won’t lead me astray You’re a motivation to many, dear awesome God Not all, which strikes me odd – can I get a nod? Morning has come and, happily, once again, I am left to anticipate on what will happen This maybe-good afternoon… Or even tonight…despite the darkest night It is somewhat a day too soon To feel fright, but I am going to be all alright, For the night is clearly, completely gone…oh, finally, at last... Lord, I tell myself morning has come, the rest is in the past Morning has come Morning has come I welcome the son… The sun that shines on.. Morning has come Mourning is numb I succumb to a single, worthless crumb Or dawn's oven-backed bread, thirty minutes ahead Some people chewed me up like gum They spat me out, sadly, instead…rejection felt, but it is unsaid Be still, my darling love, True healing is near and almost here Godly love from above Will give you fearless, endless cheer… Morning, dear Good morning's here… Fear not, oh fear not You can take a lot... Glimmer agleam and please come find out You’re not the only one in doubt, So don’t be so damn mournful – Good morning, friend of mine, you’ll shine beautiful Replace hopeless, moping doubt with hope's unnoticeable, yet lovely route You’re not on your own, for He is your backbone when your back gives out You’re the friend by my side who doesn’t mind my morning hugs with open arms, For I am a handful and an armful, especially when my gems become shiny charms You are greatly invincible from the marked start Morning has come to really show you how, now, Your bright day can be a marvelous work of art You got to prove it by mere actions somehow… Morning has come, hey you, new day is here A new day to have so much unfailing cheer! Catch some before it runs out, give a victory shout You know exactly what I’m talking about no doubt Strife and all, disappear… Good morning, our cheer Farewell, deep-inside fear Inner faith's glow is near Morning has come, has come So, pray for His Kingdom that we are eager for To come, so let us all become Whole, together, once more and all the more Morning has come and we need to absolutely know, though, That there’s a greater fresh start for everyone, so let’s go!
