 WORD HOBO has that ring of truth as nom de plume. He has encouraged me tons, and with such sincerity, he became one of the reasons I never could quit POETRY SOUP. I salute this Poet Extraordinaire, whose latest offering - after 4 months of silent intercession for all life - has posted "COVER ME" in French and in English. Another wonderful education for me - and you?

When my encouragers who are first and foremost wonderful writers of substance, leave or turn off commenting and SOUP Mail, it aches in the heart and soul. But we must love from afar, even thise who mean much without having met in the flesh. How wonderful that writing (and poetry) makes connections between and among our spirits! Let Heaven rejoice, as my couplet today posted says, "Life didn't happen to you - to make you happy ... but to kick [me and] you awake to attend and tend ...."

How do we say thank you to George V/Word Hobo, for this most recent poem posted in early August 2018? I feel locked out ... yet accept the challenge that GEORGE - WORD -HOBO will know that His Presence and essence, have achieved healing work. He has raised the Consciousness of the planet, and has done what the Universe expects of each of us with its gifts of life and art. It is not your/my business, patent, formula, Nobel Prize & other Prizes that will follow ... after the body gives up THE Spirit! Prizes/success will not save our heirs from addictions here. It is THE level of Consciousness you contribute to the planet, overall, to Universal Consciousness, that will make eulogies authentic. So, accept my thanks through the ether, WORD HOBO, and know that we know that you know Life, Love, and Success. The scores of Nobel Peace Prizes since Mr. Nobel died and left his millions for peace - has not saved women and children of the Arab Middle East from bombing-at-will, bombing to field-test weapons on Arabs, Depleted Uranium inTOXICated weaponry, rape, pillage, wars, and popular revolutions raped by money interests and MIGHT-IS-RIGHT religions. So much for the world's peace & successs & milestones of modern civilization. Shalom, shalom (only Israel's enlightened Citizens of the Globe can lead us to Shalom and Love) Of course, WORD HOBO, Phil Capitano, Paul Callus, Charlie Smith, and Maureen McGreavy - among others - will help this effort at SHALOM for our children, and our childrens' children. amen & amein
