Poem
I was shot-gun in the car a little while ago as I can recall We drove from desert to desert from Arizona to California I suddenly felt like a professional photographer here – snap cheers I took far too many photos of the desert wilderness it clearly appears I kept all of the photos on my father’s phone and also, my tablet Sadly, I didn’t bring my two animals – especially my favorite dog pet Saw the wild, green and yellow bushes of plenty and puny trees in so many clusters Taming the wild child in me and making me feel like mellow cats, filled with furs and purrs The desertlands here are beautifying and simply brilliant, cradled with hot breeze The precious, desolate prairies are sparkling like delightful fairies and yellow daisies The sun is shimmering sweet and sour upon our skin We kept cool with the AC on in the caravan once again The forest of mountains, hills and rocky terrain…is covered with dirt and endless plants I bet hardly any animal would survive here, not even birds in the sky or plantation ants Listening to two songs at once on the radio, feeling blissfully musical and all-the-more motivating; yet, Quite cheery with a bunch of feelings crunched in, wanting to come out, no longer upset with regret Been sitting all day in the somewhat slow van-vehicle, My eyes were peering time and time again, how eventful… It was such a long, long time, traveling countlessly, nervously anticipatin' To do a choir performance and spend some time in sunny California again I talk and talk out of mere habit and boredom, yet I say some significant, random-like things I bring up things that are positive and negative, so I keep quiet and see what serenity brings Travelling to Lake Havasu to Victorville is a long way, But it made me pretty glad and happy all day today Joshua trees passed us by substantially and yet, I managed to catch some pictures of them I believe that the nature and beauty of the desert is amazing to gaze at for a bit, a dry gem If I gaze long enough, I might get tired of it as fast as a hare can run… I’m still having a mini adventure with fun a trillion times a trillion…not a trillion ton I want to walk this off – the junk food and constant sitting and tiredness during this trip as I grab my 25 ounce jug of Polar Pop and take a nice sip Times like these get somewhat rough nowadays…looking back instead of in the future a lot more than not in doubt…but, I will get a gracious grip Then, I’d be super exaggerating and it would get aggravating if I go any further Won’t mention these joyous feelings I get, despite obnoxious noises, confusion ablur My dad and I picked up my sister and I still believe God is working with us a wondrously great deal His helpfulness and His mercy and consideration is extremely real, a spiritual and an emotional appeal Don’t know how I survived the travel from Arizona to California Safe travels too, papa... (and brother like no otha)
