Poem
Worries brought me low I just wanted to let you know I heard the feline's purr I felt her soft, fluffy fur Heartfelt, pretty kitty Her love is not itty-bitty She is absolutely pretty She loves me and I love her… And the touch of her fur And the sound of her purr She’s a gorgeous, pleasantly perfect momma She bore four kittens with flawless gentility on her paw Kept two (gladly) Gave away two (sadly) Searching to belong again Wish I could feel like a ten If you touch me with your affection, I may wash away the waterfall of tension.. Between us… That changes us… On another bus… A route of crying and many a fuss Give me direction No more rejection I need comforting bliss Dismiss hopelessness I need sweet satisfaction from you…here without you My cat can only do so much Wipe away my grief-stricken tears that made me blue Yearning for uplifting touch Can you comprehend my heart-aching hurt? Could you mend with words of sheer comfort? I’m breaking away the blocks that are in my way, Punching away barriers of blasphemy day by day Don’t step all over me like a living-room rug I am near a cute cat that acts like a love bug I am also a dirty, dusty mat on your empty, clean kitchen floor I was filthy with abominable wrongdoings, too hard to ignore Make me make sense in all I do (make me feel of reverence) Confusion makes me feel so blue (it doesn’t make sense) Take it all away and I will always pray (with an open, beloved heart of really revitalizing repentance) You keep me warm and well all the way (redemption equals significant acceptance of His radiance) Wring out the worries from my head Lying in bed, overwhelmed by dread Hear my pleas and sufferings… My clever cat purrs and brings My frown a smile all over again… She brought me joy and then… Melted away my ashamed sorrow Gave me invigorating lullabies aglow Ebbie, you’re my glorious moonlight You’re my ebony, elegant sky tonight You protect me with your angelic wit…I will definitely admit Your gracious, lovely, Libran love is so meowvelous and legit She’s purrfect! You saved me from my sly, darkened shadows That dare to devour me with discouraging blows Love you, puny, furry feline~ You’re a friend of mine and your kindness so fine You are family, oh so divine You came up to me when I was feeling rather lonely I won’t lament or be disheartened anymore, pretty kitty!
