Poem
If I was ever to be blessed With the gift of an only child And I was given the option To choose the sex also too I would choose to have a baby girl I know a Father is supposed to want a boy A son to carry on the family name But given a choice I would prefer a girl My sister was blessed with 3 daughters I have 3 beautiful nieces So you think I would want a boy To play and do thing's with But who is to say a daughter wouldn't like football Or the thing's I love as much as a boy would And no Father gets the privilege of giving his son away Or can be touched by the joy and pain Of a daughter giving birth like his wife did Mother's son But Daddy's little girl And girls don't stray to far from home If they come from a loving Mother and Father As they want there children to know the same Love from whence they came And call upon them for babysitting Because as much as a child feels love It pales into comparison seeing Mum and Dad Looking after there Grandchildren Wondering why they love them more than they did you ? And the simple reason must be this They get to give them back to you And think they love you and want nothing back Apart from the odd biscuit and play toy And boy's need entertaing Where as girl's are far less anoying The only down side I can see Is if when said daughter Becomes old enough to find boy's Boyfriend material Then all bets are off They better all sod off Until she is way above the age of 33 Or she meets a suitor on which we both agree And I don't want to kill But for now ill dream of her becoming a Nun With the only means of having a child is via a sperm donnor Im sorry but no father worth his salt Could ever stomach the though of there daughter taking part In were children come from That is the only reason I would want a boy Because when a boy brings a girl home His father thinks that's my boy Well done son you are your fathers son But when a daughter starts courting And brings a boyfriend home The 1st thing that comes to mind Is where is a good place to hide a body If you hurt or touch my daughter I am proficient in all manners of the art of torture If you wish to remain alive Better have her home by 5 Remember I am a boy and was once young too So picture me if you hormones start raging And your hands or mind start a wondering I know where you live And as a father When it comes to my daughter I do not poses the capacity to forgive neither forget
