came thru the door, called me over
... we sat..
together for hours.
why did you hold me like that?
while holding me i held on too
then realized i should be weary of you
since you've been here before 
strolled thru that same door
to remind me of what made me cry
when i was angry or sad or
could not say good-bye
told me it was raining 
even though the sun was out
what would the next lie be about?
that no one wanted me around?
that no one but you would be down?
came in like my pal, my homie
so i'd isolate myself and be lonely
is there life after loss?
who made you boss?
came in, decided my mood...
invading my feelings, my thoughts,
how rude!
wanted me to meet your brother
nah, buddy! this relationship is so over!
your hugs are not needed
you've just been defeated
get off my couch, get out of my life
i can't go on with all this pain and strife
wanting so much more for myself
my Father's love is my wealth
depression, this has got to end
because i've discovered that you are
not my friend.
