Poem
Hm, well, I see you need to give yourself a lot more credit Than you give yourself daily – you’re modest, I do admit You have a witty and clever side in you deep down What about you outsmart the emptiness inside? It appears that you like staying home instead of making friends in town You need to reach out to friends and not hide… I know it’s more than difficult to express yourself more articulate My insight towards your struggles are interpreted most accurate I cried a little for the sake of you, Hoping you will listen to me too I am telling you this out of pure love, my dear love You’re loved...that's hard to make an argument of Love, shine on and press on forward as you please Revealing the true you will delight yourself at ease No longer remain a dim light in the darkness after midnight, my darling delight Go further into the depths of determination towards the search of His light Oh, you dim light, Do shine on tonight Oh, my dim light, Please accept my delight That I hand to you with open arms, hon You’re a daydream away, no harm done Oh, you dim light, Have wings of flight Oh, my dim light, Push away the plight From your life And from my life Vanish, strife! I noticed you got too timid to stand up for what’s right Yes, I know I notice things too much, but you’ll be alright I know you want a shoulder to lean on and vent your heart out I’ll be here to simply listen and see your glisten of your no-doubt Oh, your dim light needs to come out of the dark Reveal your hidden might and build an arduous ark Almost like Noah and his trust-worthy, robust crew Oh, my dim light, glimmer graciously and prove your worth too Don’t let fear and doubt become erect Actually, we were made far from perfect You can still try to reach to the bar of flawless feelings so brazen It will be surreal for real, so don’t dry up like a rancid, little raisin Bring me your bravery and brew away the nightmarish dreams Heal me higher than the high-hopes hills with open, haven hands I’ll be a tree, planted by the colorful rocks and shining streams Free-falling without a dire fright in the fire of your desired demands I wanted you back My phases of manias got out of whack I had got your back Until I lost track of what you meant to me But, you can’t come back My innocence went from white to black Just leave and please be back Just waiting for you to forgive me sincerely Don’t turn your back on me Turn away from the wretched yesterday I’m sorry I didn’t let you be Unravel all of you like yarn night and day You devour me like a shark You torn me up from the start Yes, you left your teeth mark On my aching, breaking heart You departed from the purity of light You abandoned it because of scars you had and you were mad The past haunts us like stars at night Misery makes harmony with hatred and makes us feel so sad Don’t leave My sight, not just yet I won’t grieve In tough rage and regret I want to believe By all the hopes and cheers I can get I need to be caught in the net Of faithful ensnarement that doesn’t get me upset Don’t let fear and doubt become erect Actually, we were made far from perfect You can still try to reach to the bar of flawless feelings so brazen It will be surreal for real, so don’t dry up like a rancid, little raisin Back track the troubled, terrible times when I had your back Self-control and self-confidence is what you lack, even way back In those days that deeply distracted you and made you remorseful Well, those days are over, so don’t muse daily on them, beautiful
