Poem
The heart is such a fragile thing. We find someone we love and we give it away. If we’re lucky they too will give us theirs to hold. If we take it we must be very careful not to break it, for a broken heart can never truly be fixed it can only be patched. There may be old scars, cuts and stab wounds from the past and from time to time they will open and bleed. It will be up to us now to care for this new heart even if it’s pain we did not cause. The heart is such a fragile thing. Everyone’s heart is different. Some people have big hearts that try to spread love to everyone they met. Others have small hearts only having enough love for themselves and a few others. Many have cold hearts not letting anyone get close to them. Still there are those who have warm hearts who at first may seem distant but as you get closer to them you start to feel their warmth deep within. The heart is such a fragile thing. It can be lonely, heavy, happy, sad, joyful, caring, weak, or strong. Our heart can feel so many things but the greatest feeling of all is love. If your heart is filled with love then you should be happy. Love can make you do crazy things, but not all crazy things are bad. If love is what your heart seeks then go find it let nothing hold you back. The heart wants what it wants and there is no shame in that. The heart is such a fragile thing. One of the worst feelings it can feel is pain. The pain of losing a loved one in death can cause the heart much stress and sadness that can only be understood by those how have experienced it. The pain of a breakup can leave the heart hollow and dry as if it were dead. The many pains of life can make the heart slow and listless, for what is the propose of life if you have nothing to live for? The heart is such a fragile thing. As we go about our day to day lives we should take a moment to consider the our heart is indeed fragile and therefore life is fragile too.
