One word,one scratch . I keep consoling myself as I keep losing this battle . One more scratch, maybe they won't notice . As I fail to realise even a thousand scratches go unnoticed, my kind of cry for help is either judged or ignored . One more river of blood, let me drain my body . Maybe they will realise I'm screaming, silently . One more cut, just one deep cut . One that will numb the pain, and maybe bring out the inner beauty they keep talking about . The beauty of revealing yourself... At first I did not understand why someone would choose to love brokeness . How a mere mortal would dedicate their life into putting back pieces of a shattered heart . One piece each day, with every kiss and every tight hug . How sweet words could glue together a million pieces of a heart that was once titanic . But it's all bound to change right ? And You will one day wake up and get tired of fixing me . You will start to realise why they all broke me and you'll slowly become them . My nightmares will suddenly become too vivid for you too handle and my demons will start to tamper our love . You will sleep every night with one eye open scared of the ghosts that crawl from my hell . So please do not torture your beautiful soul, don't let the dark nature of mine diffuse itself into yours
