Poem
The job of a father The reason we get married is to have children With the woman that we fell in love with To make a life with her and be a good husband And try to be the best father, that any child could ask for A good man loves his wife and children And places then as the most important thing in his life And nothing can bring him more peace and content in life Then being a good husband and role model father for his children The job of a father is to be a leader and a champion A beacon of hope and stability and mannerism A mountain that stands tall at all time A ray of light that will forever shine on his children Being a good father is a very tough and unselfish job And not many fathers live up to that standards And some will ignore to acknowledge their offsprings And doesn’t represent the pure majesty that comes with being a good father One of the most important things a father can do Is to love and respect the mother of his children To set a perfect example for his children to morph into And that’s the wisdom that they will take with them Children look up to their fathers and mothers And the love that unites them And that’s the kind of love they will carry in their hearts As they become parents and have children of their own someday Every good father wishes the best for his children And to give them the best life that he could But sometimes a good father will stumble and fall And carry the weight of the world on his shoulders My father was the strongest man I ever know And there were times that he carried the world on his shoulders But with a smile on his handsome face He would just keep on going and never let it showed He was a humble man of dignity that everyone looked up to He was considered a father to everyone in the village who knew him My father was called home to heaven by God Too early and way before his time, and I know that my father’s example is still being followed by everyone still to this day Today I am a father and I love my son And I will do everything in the world to make him happy But sometimes being the best father in the world With all the love in the world is not enough But every day I have to keep trying And trying, over and over again Until the smile that was missing Comes back where it belongs again The job of a father is a never-ending job And every good father knows that it's true And to my father and all the fathers in the world Who are living and who have died Happy fathers day to you
