Poem
We belong to ourselves on primary agenda, The voice of our homeland Ghana bitterly expresses her feelings over failing governments. Governments that come to serve our land with poisonous aroma. And tries all their best to blindfold every Ghanaian through carnal influence. They stay altering words that wickedly create scars on the brain of Ghanaians with unbearable consequence. Thought governance is practically a medium of sustaining citizens within a country laws, Politicians in Ghana keeps failing both young and old immediately the land produce food for current and tomorrow generations, The glorious crown is easy to be won without faults, Yet, discrimination keeps entangling the remarkable strategies set for the good future of the country with weak negotiations. We hold in high esteem the policy of Ghana beyond aid without flaws, But nothing urges our land of rich resources to achieve the best of all. In Ghana lies the motive of shame and filth. The land is full of setbacks pulling down the legacies our dead heroes and heroines built. Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah and his squad. Who made the freedom and justice define the voice of our homeland in might? Dreamers keeps multiplying in the areas of societal chambers, But nothing comes out of the heart of politicians in order to empower citizens to be winning calibers. What else do we need as a country freed from colonialism? It`s mind blowing to maintain our love for this blessed home, From the cardinal point is the approach of imperialism. I keep hearing Ghanaians shouting for help in small cone, Foreigners always drop their wastes upon the surface of this affable region in West Africa. The time is now to heal every pain fixed all over Ghana, Around swampy corners are the sons and daughters of our dear motherland spotted lying down hopelessly. Poverty is tearing our population into disregard. Even at the prime time of the nation, the founders designed a blossom wing to shield the children of Ghana nicely. Pity…how pity to see the wing being destroyed, it`s hard. As time gets going violent, economic breakdown is chewing our happiness. We can`t even work together anymore with patience, All because of selling our dignity to white men who only come to lead us astray. Intimidation rain on us stress after we`ve worked for years without taking from them any pay. Yeah, it`s pity to say…. Our homeland is corrupt under the pillow. Leaders of today throw dust into our eyes by demanding from us bribe before achieving what belong to us. Is it a game of chance for politicians to butcher us with a sharpened axe? Till we make a tactful decision, Ghana our homeland will keep revealing her sorrowful face to the world in degradable mirror. “May GHANA be healed” #SALEM MULTIMEDIA INITIATIVE
