Poem
The bees graze in fields of daisies They dance on flowers like fairies Quickly…substantially, they buzz around happily Hopefully, they’re not caught off guard suddenly Just let them be In lands, so free Blissfully, They will surely flee They don’t know, oh no… They don’t know, oh no… They aren’t aware of our fate in the future They aren’t aware of their own fate; left unsure.. Keep them well and alive Leave alone their busy hive They will multiply and be abundant They will produce honey in an instant Their significance is beyond us… So, don’t throw them under a bus The butterflies look back at their transformation They were once caterpillars, below our admiration Like beautiful butterflies, bees are extremely important And also, do consider the puny, yet mighty significant ant Just let them be In lands, so free Blissfully, They will surely flee They don’t know, oh no… They don’t know, oh no… They aren’t aware of our fate in the future They aren’t aware of their own fate; left unsure.. Keep them well and alive Leave alone their busy hive They will multiply and be abundant They will produce honey in an instant Their significance is beyond us… So, don’t throw them under a bus Be attentive for a moment and listen to me please Don’t disregard this song about insects and bees This is a unique dedication and appreciation Towards God's awesome, articulate creation Yeah, I might seem like an obnoxious, know-it-all man I want to show jubilant respect and honor best I can No, I am not that man, but I believe in showing gratefulness Towards these creatures' roles, regarding His creation of greatness Just let them be In lands, so free Blissfully, They will surely flee They don’t know, oh no… They don’t know, oh no… They aren’t aware of our fate in the future They aren’t aware of their own fate; left unsure.. Keep them well and alive Leave alone their busy hive They will multiply and be abundant They will produce honey in an instant Their significance is beyond us… So, don’t throw them under a bus Bees are benevolent, brilliant bugs we need They are decreasing drastically due to our greed Let’s save and protect these precious, little lives Show them your kind love, but avoid their hives Yes, they’ll provide you so much honey like they always do They sting and has given us shock and pain, but they were scared too So, forgive them and don’t remember them as stingy, angry monsters Don’t destroy their natural habitat; let them graze in bright pastures! Just let them be In lands, so free Blissfully, They will surely flee They don’t know, oh no… They don’t know, oh no… They aren’t aware of our fate in the future They aren’t aware of their own fate; left unsure.. Keep them well and alive Leave alone their busy hive They will multiply and be abundant They will produce honey in an instant Their significance is beyond us… So, don’t throw them under a bus Keep telling the countless people We need the bees to keep our effulgent ecosystem in good hands Keep telling them as we are able We need the bees…we need the bees…to roam in liberating lands Do the bees a favor and allow them not to be cruelly extinct Increase the bee population, prior to our decisions and responsibility Raise awareness of these cool bees and don’t be hoodwinked Please know that the bees need safety and shelter to produce honey
