Follow my footsteps to the unknown and make progress
I would like to trace you upon the river of love
Rescue me from my doubtful waves of hopelessness
I would love to sing you to sleep in clouds above

I often wish fantasy would be reality (hope)
I often wish you would be here with me (that)
I often wish your kind of love can hold me tight (never)
As we melt into the waterfall of sheer delight (lets)
Moonlit silhouettes haunt me again… (go)
Starlit phantoms taunt me times ten… (so)
Sunlit angels defeat the dark and hallow devils of the deep (fail)
We wander our pitiful ways…like long lost sheep, we wail and reap (not)

We are landing like a plane in the terrain
You are understanding my language of rain
Wake me up when the sun refuses to shine
Sleep well, my guardian angel, you will soon be mine

You have surprised me like a sudden shot of a gun
Shut up and listen – you need to belong once more
In the sheltering wings of making progress that will inspire you to soar
Not to mention a succulent sensation of adoration to shake your core

Leave the past in the remnants of reminiscent rubble
I know you and I are in this rut – we are in dire trouble!
Let the consequences of our actions in this life take its cruel toll
I would hate to let you go to these ravenous wolves that have no soul 
But, you are not crafted with avarice rebellion 
Along with a corrupted heart of ignorant oblivion 
You are made to be traced upon the river of love
Now, I shall sing you to sleep as you rest your wings of flight, my dove…
