Poem
You win ever so calmly never to know what may be hanging straight above your head. Under complications we break and bestow – Habitual ponders and worriment are gifts to our dreads. Always constant surveillance of our presence, so tranquil that we are too blind to see – Our mindset is not one of omniscience There is a blade balancing on one single follicle for me There’s danger which dozes in an instant breath right upon us. It is something classically romantic to catch us off guard; and under the simplicities we hum for our lust It is men of high power who frequently bombard You’ve not understood experiences, You’ve not truly unlocked minds, The shoes you wear were sewn of pretenses, Multiple paths is what the sage follows and finds – There is a wisdom we feel impossible of acquiring – To infinity could my dust turn to waterfalls? How would one go about flying under the sage’s wing? I fall short of breath when my radiation enthralls. We mustn’t surrender to futile obsessions – Rather we shall succumb to the greater good. I went to Kilimanjaro for an emancipation lesson, it is then that I learned to do what I should. There are those who want to walk across water. There are those who want to bathe in wine. Some men are drenched in iniquity and slaughter. Some men are out only to take what is mine. When there is a little voice audible we should listen Over-sighting is the division of souls Men of power more often scar than glisten And they are often paid in wickedness – even when they receive folles Cruelty is more often rewarded than folie, nevertheless, liberated is how I’ve remained. I am regarded more as criminal than as holy – True emotion is shunned while fake bravery is acclaimed Tender heart – abandon not – Submission is less beautiful than diamonds; And when vanity turns to virtue, souls will rot – waves to blades, dusk to dawn, peasants to high men.
